2 3/4 c sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1 c canned pumpkin
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin, until all is combined.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 65-70 min or until center tests done. Cool 10 min, then remove from pans.
